About Us

Who We Are...

The Calgary Stampede has a strong commitment to developing the potential of the young people in our community, providing them with the means to become creative and confident leaders in the Twenty First Century.

Because of this commitment the Stampede has continually been asked to accommodate a growing number of people who wished to make gifts to Stampede programs. In response the Calgary Stampede Foundation (the "Foundation") was established as a charitable foundation to generate income for the development of youth of Southern Alberta. In particular, the Foundation supports the Young Canadians of the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede, The Calgary Exhibition & Stampede Show Band, 4-H on Parade and Youth Speech and Debate.

Donors receive the maximum tax benefit, and donations are managed in perpetuity.

Our Mission...

The Calgary Stampede Foundation is committed to providing the youth of Alberta with the opportunity to develop strong roots in their culture and heritage through programs that enhance personal growth, citizenship and education.

Our Vision...

The Calgary Stampede Foundation will be the major source of funding for the operational requirements of selected youth programs. The Foundation's mandate is to generate income that will guarantee our youth programs well into the future.

Vision Statement

The pioneers founders of the Calgary Stampede were visionaries. They personified the unique character and spirit of the western experience. The Calgary Stampede Foundation builds on their legacy by encouraging young Albertans to honor the values of their western heritage, and have confidence that the power of their dreams will forge to the future.
